Did not finish book. Stopped at 37%.

I couldn't understand most of the poems without additional context.
I needed a college class or something where I could learn where the author was coming from and what types of poems she was writing.
The poems I understood were profound and beautiful.
But I decided not to finish because I'd rather spend my limited reading time on something I enjoy more.
