fun quick read with some educational nuggets
a couple of chapters end abruptly on things i thought she would develop more on — the author often strays away from the book's central theme but i found almost all tangents interesting. as expected, i found some of the commentary on people's bodies uncomfortable or even unnecessary... why are we comparing kate moss' back to a stegosaurus? and how does the author talk about meghan trainor's "i won't be no stick figure silicone barbie doll" lyrics as body positive? these slip ups didn't happen regularly or i would've rated this much lower but it's enough of a bother to mention here
