The Magicians by Lev Grossman

4.0

It's hard to really say what I think about this book. I was never bored with it, and I was always intrigued enough to turn another page, but it moved very fast. I do think the book was rushed and at times, specific events felt glossed over or unresolved. My thought is that Grossman intended The Magicians to be a rather long prologue, setting up for the next two stories. Regardless, I do intend on reading the next in the series, and would recommend this book to someone looking for magic but not necessarily fantasy.
