I didn't think I enjoyed romantic novels, but @tiawilliams and Seven Days in June proved me all the way wrong. 💜 The pacing of this second chance romance between two Black authors was perfect. There were heavy parts - childhood trauma, Eva's invisible disability, whitewashing, & parenting - but I rooted for every flawed character and thoroughly enjoyed this book of Black love and joy.
QOTD: Do you have a book crush? If so, who is it & from what book?
AOTD: Shane Hall is my first ever book crush. I get the hype. 🥰
P.S. Shout-out to @the.storygraph for their spoiler free buddy read feature! I had so much fun being able to bounce thoughts off with @whatashleereads and @inkstainsanddustjackets
