Fantastic book. I think it's fairly hopeful about humans - even though there is a good deal of horrible things that people do to each other, there are some good people who care for each other. Also, the writing style is fantastic. I especially like the interjections of the footnotes. I read it super fast (under a day) and I almost wish I hadn't because I think I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't rushed through it. Would re-read .
