I found the book to be disappointing - from how the topic of sociopathy was shown and treated, to the characters and their actions, to the timing of certain situations and to the structure of how it was written (which is a subjective thing, I know, but it bothered me enough to mention).
The reason why I gave it a rating of 2/ 5 is because I find the concept of the story interesting, and think that if it were executed a bit differently the book itself could have turned out more fun to read, more thought-provoking, and more interesting.
However, as far as I'm aware, this is the first book by Wells, so I might give one of his later books a shot, as I'm curious to see how he improved as an author and into what kind of writing style he grew. 🌙
