... somehow reached a point in our relationship where everything about each other was just a part of the tedium of daily life

A wonderfully well-written book showcasing Seoul in all its dazzling night life and its painfully reserved morning after. Young's journey through the stages of love in adulthood and all its bittersweet moments from the perspective of an outsider in Seoul. It highlights the struggles of being gay in a society that is unaccepting of the non-conformists. Along with portraying realistic adult relationships dealing with the real world.

There were moments throughout this book that I had to just sit with what Young is going through because I just couldn't bring myself to disapprove of what he was doing. It's an approved read.
