Roverandom by J.R.R. Tolkien
1.0
Basically, it was very clear that the book was originally a story told to a child. The characters seem to be very random, there was way too much stuff about character names, and Roverandom didn't learn his lesson for a very long time. Most annoyingly of all, it seemed as though all of the interesting bits were cut out. The whole book was basically "Then Roverandom went on a super great adventure that would take too long to explain." I want to read the adventures that Tolkien didn't talk about.
