Reflections on the relationship between wealth, riches & art. The importance of this relationship cannot be understated in any critique & future creative endeavours. Morris’ writing is as pertinent as it’s ever been.
Reading this was informative & provided an interesting lens. Money in art is something I’ve often considered when creating & particularly writing songs. Not that I’ve ever had the ability to financially benefit yet! But thinking about the listener or viewer is important yet troublesome. This is a good book & really interesting to witness the inertia!
