Catherine and Jasper’s early love story was so stinkin’ cute… the rest of the book, not so much.
I love Chloe and her siblings, they were so entertaining and I was here for the alternating chapters between Chloe and the cutest 1960 love story. However, once the author switched it up to other characters’ POVs in part two, NOTHING HAPPENED. The pacing felt so off and there was no real resolution.
Elderly Catherine was not the same character from the 60s and I’m still so angry at her. She caused all this drama and fuss but wrote it all off as “best for everyone.”
I can’t stand when the entire plot hangs on one character‘a stupid dramatics.
