Great book. I found myself hearing the voices of some of my students + the media + the movements of today in the narrator’s voice. I’m sure if I had a different childhood with different parents, neighborhoods, schooling, and cultural awareness, and had read this as a teenager it’d be a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟-banger.
