ncontreras83 's review for:
Tuck Everlasting
by Natalie Babbitt
I'm not entirely sure how to go about reviewing this book so I'm going to go down the pros and cons list.
Pros: detailed, romantic, hopeful, sensitive, honest, beautiful description and philisophy
Cons: too much narration and not enough story, not as romantic as I would've liked, too short
I remember seeing this movie when it came out and I loved it, I adored it and I had always wanted to read the book. I finally do and sadly I am left with the feeling of this is an alright book, something I would've adored at the age of 10 or probably younger 7 or 8.
I do like the story and the concept of it and it was written very lovely, but I didn't adore or love or fall in love with this book the way I thought I would or the way others do.
