Felt very repetitive and followed a lot of the same story beats as the past books. I still think he should have stopped at number 7 and left it how it was. Also, I've never noticed (or forgot until now) how often he uses the word "said" in this book. I listened to the audio book and it felt like every 4th word was "said" and it drove me nuts. 😅 I don't know what the plans are for future books, but I hope they actually end soon. 😬
