I don't really know how to explain this book other than
it's a ghost story--not as a spooky halloween whatever, but that you start to realize as you read it that this is a story about dead children.
Absolutely a page-turner that had me finishing it within a day. I'm a fast reader, but tend to get distracted, which lends itself to longer read times. Five stars because I thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it, but the ending didn't really hit the way I expected it to, it felt somehow like there wasn't an impact, and I don't see myself returning to re-read this book, so I deducted .25 stars.
