I liked the biblical references. Some characters felt a bit like they existed to be checkboxes and to bring "discourse" into the apocalypse. I liked Benji though. A bit rough in terms of writing, but the ideas and big moments were impactful. Expressing the trans rage felt cathartic, even to this cis reader.
