It has been a while since I read it for school. We had to pick a classic and I wanted to impress the teacher. Anyway I can clearly remember few things about this reading experience. Well, only one, but I repeat it.
Beginning of the story is well-known from different kind of kids shows and basically from everywhere. There's movie with Jack Black and Donald Duck cartoon with it. But I was surprised how political and weird it was. (No, I don't want to know how bad giant humans smell)
And then the last part of adventure. I was rather surprised. The book that has been turned into children's entertainment is not only political, but simply has a negative view of humanity in the end. It was truly not what I expected. And considering that this is a classic, and the plot is hardly ever surprise when you star to read one, it is quite weird thing to say about a book this old and famous.
