Method for Matrimony
by Anne Malcom
I loved Kip and Fiona. Their story touches on various topics such as infertility, domestic abuse, miscarriage, and loss of loved ones. It is raw and real and so emotional. Yet at the same time it’s fun and full of hilarious banter between Kip and Fiona. It’s an emotionally charged story that the author put every emotion from her own personal experiences into.
Kip and Fiona both have tragic pasts that they are struggling with. They enter into a marriage of convenience despite seeming to barely tolerate each other though the chemistry is there. Try as they might to fight it, the inevitable happens and feelings get complicated. Add in another of my favorite tropes: surprise pregnancy and things get a little dicey. This story was emotional, real, and another 5 star read from one of my favorite authors.
