Audible Plus Read: Alien: Covenant by Alan Dean Foster was included in my Audible Plus subscription, I figured why not. I like the concept of Alien, but the movies have always terrified me. The start of this book was not great, if I'm being fully transparent. There were point I was listening through and having to re-wind because it was more sci-fi than I usually care to indulge in. But from the start, it was action packed, and filled with gore the closer the book got to the end. I'm writing this review after having finished the prequal, where a handful of the character from Alien: Covenant were introduced. I had some minor qualms with the synthetics, and how they incorporated into the Aliens storyline, but sci-fi isn't my bread and butter, so I chose not to look too far into the issues.

4/5. Thoroughly enjoyed this book once it got going halfway through.
