This book was challenging to get through. It was very informative on the history of racist ideas. Kendi did a fantastic job of thoroughly exploring the racial issues since the beginning of American history. I did learn a lot and am now interested in what my part can be in ending racist ideas which I will read about in other books. I just was not a fan of how this book was written. It reads like a history textbook. It’s pretty dry, but I was very impressed with the extensive research that went into this book. I’m glad I read it.
