Not to say this was poorly written- but I wasn’t the audience for this, knew that, and decided to read it anyway as it was a gift and it was on my shelf. That’s my bad. I’m sure if you’re a fan of Brandi this is nice- to me felt like another celebrity memoir that didn’t have much of a story to tell.  My biggest takeaways were the chapters with insights into Joni Mitchell’s life and that I could make a drinking game for every time she praises Obama :/
