It took me a little while to get back into the story. Like when you make a hot bad, you know you are going to enjoy it but you need to acclimate toe by toe. After a few chapters I was right back in Girdlegard.
The way that multiple stories are made and woven together, the details, the joys, the sorrows. It is just great storytelling.
