The Dark Lady by Iacopo Bruno, Alessandro Gatti, Pierdomenico Baccalario, Chris Turner

4.0

This was a lot of fun! In the last few years I really grew to like historical mysteries written for middle grade readers, so I was excited to pick up this one, not to mention I already know that Pierdomenico Baccalario writes fun books :)

I liked the idea of Irene Adler, Sherlock and Arsene Lupin meeting as kids and it was interesting to see their interactions. The mystery plotline wasn't very complex, but it was engaging enough for a middle grade story and made me want to pick up next book in the series.
