Zeus Grants Stupid Wishes: A No-Bullshit Guide to World Mythology by Cory O'Brien

Did not finish book.

I really cannot see the purpose behind this book. If you want to read funny myths, read funny myths - in the original version! There's no need to spoil the often sophisticated wit of these myths with modern stupid vulgarity.
Past time people weren't idiots. They had a different way to express things and a different taste and sense of shame. Trying to translate this into modern style is only a bad mockery of the heritage they left us.

That's why I stopped reading this book.
