OK. So now we have Thanatos and Regan’s story. I had a lot of issues with this paring as I spoke about in my review of Imortal Rider. I still had those same rapey issues in the back of my mind going into Lethal Rider. Its obvious that the rapey-ness of their pairing wasn’t rapey at all to our hero and heroine. I disagree, but decided to just suspend my disbelief and just see where their story goes. I have to say that by the end, I was hooked.
I was just really invested in the characters. There were so many moments where I felt as the characters felt. Like, if I get teary at a sad scene, it means I’m connected to the characters and care about their outcome. I definitely got a little misty eyed at certain points. So it was nice to be pleasantly surprised.
As for the smut (because I know you want to know how it was!) it was fair. Pretty average stuff here. Not amazing but not boring either. Actually, there wasn’t really a lot of it in here. Mainly because of the whole apocalypse thing and everyone being super busy and not really having the time for some sexy fun. Also, its pregnancy sex… which isn’t something I’ve read much of.
P.S. Harvester and Reaver maybe?
