Motherhood by Sheila Heti

The first half was SO REAL. Loooots of highlighting in my digital copy. I illogically hoped it would eventually offer me an answer to the question the book poses. But there's never an answer, just a prolonged question that sort of fizzles out. Even though I knew a novel ("novel"?) couldn't answer a life question for me, I was still hoping it would give me some sort of insight, and this just felt like more muddle. Relatable, quite lovely muddle, but also so much sadness and so little clarity.
