Beautiful portrait of the survival of art. This has been on my TBR for far too long. Thank you @mrd_reads for giving me the push to go for it. While I do love a dystopian novel, this was not typical of what I usually read and it was a welcome aside. The focus was not on the tragedy of the world changing so drastically, but on the beauty that could still exist even in that state. A few more books to go to be a Madel completist, and I have loved every work of hers that I have read.
