Alright, I devoured this audiobook! It kept coming up on my Libby app and I kept scrolling past it. Also the audiobook's narration is amazing. I am normally quite picky with them, but this one had me hooked!
The Brennans are wildly dysfunctional. These characters make all kinds of mistakes, and of course there are mistakes and secrets from the past that catch up with them all. These characters almost all have a messy backstory that hinges on one main plot event and the story is juicily revealed as it's untangled. The suspense was so fun to listen to, and the plot was paced pretty perfectly.
