Sweet Nightmare by Tracy Wolff

0.5

Where do I even begin: crave with the serial numbers filled off, a completely unsatisfying ending that leaves exponentially more questions than answers, consent is apparently a fictional concept in this universe, and it had the nerve to take an interesting and intreging premise and not do it a lick of justice. Plus the plot only starts about 2/5ths into the book. And all the characters are absolutely annoying in their own unique ways, but said ways boil down to them all being the stupidest creatures to walk the planet. Plus Clementine and Jude have no romantic chemistry whatsoever. Moreover Tracy writes kissing scenes like an alien who did their research using ChatGPT. Anyway I gotta stop giving this author chances, she didn’t even deserve the plagiarized story outline her publishing agent stole for her, much less any publishing contracts.
