So here's the thing, I loved [b:Inherit the Stars|25463009|Inherit the Stars (Inherit the Stars #1)|Tessa Elwood|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1432546660s/25463009.jpg|43063520] it was one of my favourite sci-fi reads this year. It had everything I wanted out of it. But this novella feels more like the first chapter in the book rather than something leading up to the events. It doesn't really give you much insight about anything in the book and I think the best thing to do is read this IMMEDIATELY before reading the actual novel. But I love this story and these characters and I highly recommend reading both this novella and the actual novel.
