Some interesting ideas explored but I found that the lack of quotation marks made it harder for me to distinguish when someone was talking and it was hard for me to understand who the narrator of each chapter was. I did like the imagery and the way the house itself was a character, but it ended up feeling like a slog to get through and I never wanted to pick it back up.
