Rode Hard, Put Up Wet by Lorelei James

1.0

This book is beyond maddening, for me at least. Still, I couldn't help but finish it for all the stupidity it entails.

I understand whatever the sexual preference, styles, positions you and your partner want. No judgment there. What riles me up is when you have this disrespectful excuse of a person (Carter) who was not even there when Macy was growing up and not having her father near her, talked to Cash like he is just somebody they know. Carter barely knew the history of the two except of what was said by Macy. That made me see red right there, and Macy? She thought it was thoughtful of Carter to CARE like that for her? Going head to head with Cash just like that? I WOULD have slapped the living daylights of that crazy sh*t. You can tell me your opinion about my family when it's the two of us, nobody should talk to my family that way. Especially not in front of everyone. What the hell was that about?

Another thing I don't get, you love the person, they have this fantasy to have some three-some, you go call your bestfriend to help you fuck her and fulfill her fantasy. Is that really happening in the real world? Or with Cash and Gemma with Trevor, I can't seem to feel the connection of looking at that person with love while she's blowing you and your friend is fucking her from behind and expect a love everlasting? No. Just no. I accept all kinks for whatever it's worth, but there are just things that aren't worth selling. Not this one. I was angry for Carter's insensitivity, disrespect and narrow mindedness that I want to get into thr book and just kill the bastard. Story would be more interesting that way.

Oh well, it's over now.
