Falling for Meadow by Kels Stone, Denise Stone

fast-paced

5.0

I want to start this review by says no how much this entire series has me in a chokehold and how much I’m going to miss every single character. It was a pleasure to be here since the beginning. That said let’s talk about this one. It’s ridiculous the amount of times I cried while reading this book, both happy and sad tears. The depiction of grieve is absolutely incredible. I’m not going to spoil it by saying which character from their youth is gone but let me tell you that it’s a huge part of their lives. I was really pissed off at that character being gone and that alone should tell you how well the emotions are shown. It’s such a hard thing to write grieve without falling into cliches but Kels and Denise did an amazing job and had me crying my eyes out.
And the relationship between Meadow and Ollie it’s so well done!! They don’t fall back in love the second they see each other again and they have so much resentment between them that you can actually feel what they’re feeling, and you can see the healing process, you can feel the love. GOD THIS ENTIRE BOOK ITS SO WELL WRITTEN!!! And it’s not only the healing of the main relationship that is so great, they have their own family relationships and traumas and it’s all so incredibly great. I was feeling all the feels while reading it and that’s a good measure for how good a book is. This entire series only got better book after book and I’m sad that is over but I can’t wait for whatever Kels and Denise have in store for us.
