I’m not sure how to start this review. I devoured this book in like 12 hours and My thoughts are a mess. This book was a very different read for me. It was my first Lisa Jewell book that I actually finished.
(the first book of her I half read was watching you which I did not like ) anyway back to this book. I mean holy fucking shit what did I just read? It was super fucking messed up and left me truly depressed for so many reasons . (and here I was thinking Gillian Flynn’s works were fucked up.) not that they’re not but this, THIS BOOK FUCKED ME UP SO BAD. I just felt so deeply for so many of the characters . their pain was so real to me. Lisa Jewell you are awesome.This book was amazing but I don’t think I can ever read it again because I honestly can’t go through all this pain again.
