The first half of the book was spectacular and the second half, although a prison diary and not my general cup of tea, was really interesting and importantly powerful. This is a book everyone should read. It's a window into inner strength, Russia today, and good nationalism. Knowing how the book ends gets harder as it goes on. Since finishing I've followed Yulia on social media and really hope she gets the chance to run in an election someday.
