Wow. Miss Tomi really did her big one with this. I just adore this series and it went out with a bang for sure. This has enough action to pack a punch for the third in a trilogy, but I felt like the ending was very well crafted. Every moment I thought I knew what direction the plot was heading in, I was wrong. Also loved the sapphic relationship sprinkled into this one. It is not often that there is still world building and learning of magic systems in a final book in a series, but I found it made this read even more compelling.
Graphic: Violence, Blood, Fire/Fire injury, Colonisation, War
Moderate: Death, Torture, Kidnapping, Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Body horror, Confinement
