An Ali Hazelwood book that worked for me? Never thought I'd see the day, but happy to be here!
I think part of what worked so well was the audiobook. It was a full cast and that brought the story to life. I loved that consent was so prominent in this. It did feel insta-lovey, but after a while that grew on me, which rarely happens! The characters were complex and I appreciated that. I requested the sequel, PROBLEMATIC SUMMER ROMANCE, from my library while listening to this and there's a long wait, so I may have to use an Audible credit so I can read it during summer!
