A great audiobook. Brammer is sometimes referred to as the queer Latinx Cheryl Strayed. And as a huge fan of Strayed and her writing, that meant my expectations for this were very high. And they were met. Brammer has a gift with words and his anecdotes were at times funny, at times sad, at times poignant but always spot on. I love his candor and willingness to share about being a person of color and queer and the many struggles that has caused him. This is a great listen. Brammer’s voice is so soothing and calm. I would highly recommend this book.
