Inherited Disorders: Stories, Parables, and Problems by Adam Ehrlich Sachs

2.0

Clever writing does not, for me, save what turns into a tired and tiring conceit. The smugness rolls of this collection in waves - have you ever wanted to smack a book? There's also something about the micro-short story that I can't quite put my finger on, but I don't like it. Anyhoo, this would have been pleasant reading as a piece in The New Yorker.

I received an ecopy from the publishers and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
