My first Banana Yoshimoto book.
What I love so much about this book (and her books in general) is that they are about normal people with quirks.
They seem normal and absolutely average on the outside, but behind closed doors, they are different, weird, "un-normal" if you may.
Her books let you join the life of these normal-un-normal people for a while and once you've finished the book you feel a bit less alone with your own quirks and un-normalities.
