What an absolute disappointment.
Why did this book have to exist? Why did no one read it before the release day? Why Cora?!
I really don't like it when authors forget that their readers have brains and are not drooling idiots too glad for scraps of their favorite characters to think critically. It just feels like a big fuck you to the hours spent reading her books and a slap on the face for liking her stories. Lesson learned.
If you like any of Cora Reilly books and intend on liking them further, do yourself a favor and skip this one.
