When the book was starting out, I really was just looking for something light to read. It’s definitely that time of the year. This book focuses on the main character’s grief and it truly highlights how it’s a never ending process.

There were some serious self sabotaging moments in it, but isn’t that life? But they really do show that going back to the same situation expecting a different outcome is madness for sure. I appreciated the moments where reconciliation comes into play so much and the mc recognizes that on all fronts even to self.

The ending however is so beautiful it almost makes up for how devastating the grief was.
