Zero Day by David Baldacci

4.0

Pros: It's Baldacci. I love 90% of his books. The plot was very suspenseful, and the characters were likeable and realistic. A bit of a twist at the end that shocked me, but made sense for the story. Interesting stuff about how coal mining/blasting works in West Virginia too.

Cons: Puller is too much like Lee Child's Jack Reacher character. To the point that I kept envisioning Jack Reacher in my head for about the first 6 chapters, which was distracting. Physically and emotionally, he was way too similar. I eventually got past it and realized I was reading Baldacci, not Child, but would have liked to see some more differences there.
