Eighteen year old Wolf is fed up with his dysfunctional family when he goes for a walk in the mountain, and his life is profoundly changed when he meets a group of women who ask him for assistance. Lansens vividly describes the wilderness, wildlife, and weather in this tale of survival and sacrifice.

The audio version is beautifully and sensitively performed.

Highly recommended.
