Smut Peddler Presents: My Monster Girlfriend by Amanda Lafrenais, Andrea Purcell

you know what, good for her

Diverse on all fronts, my favourite way for an anthology to be. In representation of race/gender/bodies/pairings (but mainly sapphic), in tone, in genre, in art style, in spookiness, and in self-seriousness (though most slanted comedic or lighthearted. Some kinda touched on the level of wackiness that in this context feels like the story is making fun of you, which I don't love, but eh).

Not a lot of outrageous stand-outs but of course plot and character are kinda taking a backseat here, so what you sign up for (spooky, cute, intimidating, etc monster girlfriends) is absolutely what you get.
