 This book was beautifully written but so sad. The friendship was toxic and that wasn't addressed which I think was a missed opportunity. Overall this was a sweeping novel that I could not put down.
I did think that end was unnecessary and it ruined the book for me. Kate's death did not really add to the plot and instead became one more reason to overlook the toxicity in her friendship with Tully.
