Went back and forth between audiobook and ebook.
I feel I would’ve liked this story more if told be VE Schwab or T. Kingfisher.
Ava Reid has beautiful prose, and I adored that in A Study if Drowning, but I didn’t need it here. It just made the book drag on longer than it had to.
