I really enjoyed this and would potentially reread it. I’d advise any readers of this book to reread the previous two closer to reading this one. I was a bit lost at first and couldn’t remember some plot points or characters from previous books.
IMHO it starts slow and builds gradually until you can’t put it down.
My dislikes include things that feel repetitive, though sometimes the repetition is intentional, which you discover later.
The world Yarros builds just keeps getting bigger and more multifaceted so it’s impossible to guess what’s actually going on. Just when you think you figured it out, you probably haven’t because there’s evidence she hasn’t revealed to us yet. This is kinda frustrating but also fun to be shocked!
