YA + low romance + coming of age!

Casey had plans to be a singer, but now she’s navigating a profound hearing loss that leaves her Deaf-Hard of Hearing.

Hayden is the soccer captain of his high school team, but all he wants is to pursue Broadway.

They both are trying to figure themselves out, but determined to hide themselves from everyone else.

I absolutely freaking adored this book.

I loved the alternating perspectives for Casey & Hayden, and their friendship! It added so much depth as they both could have honestly had their own book entirely!

I loved the coming of age aspect as both Casey & Hayden were going through big changes and figuring themselves out. Everything from being queer to their friendships to what they want to do with their lives to figuring out how to be authentically themselves.

The side characters are wonderful. The High School Musical vibes were the best. The grief journey for Casey was eye opening and just so well done.

100/10 recommend this one!
