"The Carrie diaries" is one of my favourite TV shows and I had really high expectations for the book and I was really disappointed. I found this book to be quite frustrating. Carrie isn't a very nice person in this book and is always getting herself into trouble, she dates a guy named Sebastian who is such a jerk in this book and Carrie blames herself for it, ** and then Sebastian ends up cheating on Carrie with her best friend Lali who is really just a terrible person. Speaking of cheating, another one of Carries best friends named Maggie cheats on her boyfriend Walt with a guy named Peter, who ends up cheating on her with a chic named Jen later in the book. **
There is a lot of drama in the book but at the same time I found it kind if boring and nothing really seemed to happen.
I highly recommend the TV series, not so much the book.
