Did not finish book. Stopped at 21%.

This was my second attempt at this book because people kept telling me it was good. I did get a lot further in this time not having to deal with the weird use of italics, and I will admit it does read better as an audiobook, but in the end I just couldn't do it. The initial part of the book was relatively good, but after she

opened the quicksilver gate

it started to feel formulaic in how it portrayed the FMC as a "I'm so tough I don't wear dresses"  heroine who also can't stop mentioning how hot this mysterious a**hole fae is.
